EUROVENT CERTITA CERTIFICATION has certified our Purevent humidity sensitive single-flow positive input ventilation system in a well-defined environment. A world leader in the certification of products relating to heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, this organisation has awarded this label as part of the new IAQVS programme. This is a unique recognition for these systems in terms of indoor air quality and energy efficiency, namely PUREVENT HYGRO and PUREVENT HYGRO+CO2.
The Eurovent certification framework
EUROVENT awards IAQVS certification to mechanical ventilation systems for private houses and flats. It guarantees that certified products meet performance criteria in terms of indoor air quality and energy efficiency, such as:
- humidity levels, CO2 and formaldehyde concentrations
- The energy consumption of the systems and that induced by air renewal.
A precise installation environment to be respected
To obtain IAQVS certification, Eurovent tested our PUREVENT in a strictly defined environment using specific accessories. The certified values imply that all the accessories indicated are used for each installation.
Two types of installation are certified: PUREVENT HYGRO and PUREVENT HYGRO+CO2. The first comprises a humidity sensor integrated into the pilot assistant. And the second features an air quality sensor.
These certifications have been obtained after rigorous testing. More than 2,000 simulations have been carried out by EUROVENT CERTITA in different climates. Particularly in temperate and hot climates. The system assigns individual scores for IAQ (CO2, formaldehyde and relative humidity) on a scale of 0 to 5, with 5 being the maximum score.
